Araxis Merge Professional - is the visual file comparison/merging and folder synchronization application from Araxis.
Merge is a particularly useful tool for code review, code audit and release management: the tight integration between file and folder comparison makes it easy to identify and review every change in every source file, even when comparing source hierarchies containing thousands of files.
In-place editing and unique visual two and three-way file/folder comparison and merging make Merge a compelling choice for software developers, product release managers, web designers and other professionals who work with text files, including ASCII, MBCS and Unicode files.
English, German, French, International Spanish and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) are supported as user interface languages; translation of the online help to German, French and International Spanish is underway. A Japanese version of Merge is also available.
Bugs fixed in this release
A timing-related bug that could occasionally cause Merge to crash or behave strangely when performing a Redo been fixed.
Merge will now start when configured by the dcomcnfg utility to provide automation services under a different user identity.
A bug has been fixed that could occasionally cause a word or character-wrapped line to display an unnecessary gap below itself.
